Hidden Love
author unknown
The most painful type of love there is
Is the love that's left alone;
A love that cannot be expressed,
Affection left unknown.
It's love that hides behind a mask
Of happiness and glee,
Yet all that's left deep down inside
Is pain and misery.
It's love that tries to hide away
How much it really cares.
It's kept locked within one's heart,
The feeling flowing there.
It's love that withholds speaking,
Afraid what it would say;
And the most painful thing about hidden love
is that it never fades away.
